Description: What modern science dismisses as the placebo effect is actually a practical, teachable set of skills which anyone can learn. This "inner aspect" of medicine has always been considered an essential part of any traditional healing modality worldwide until modern times. Because of this, you are potentially your most powerful healing tool/asset. The ability to connect with others from the healing presence within yourself allows others to connect with the source of healing in themselves.
This workshop is designed to teach reliable methods of accessing the healing connection with anyone. The skills taught will also be fully applicable to healing situations outside of formal health care contexts, including family life, classrooms, activism for social change, and work within organizational structures. All that is required of you is sincerity.
This workshop also enables us to experience and learn the difference between personal, impersonal, and transpersonal giving. The healing relationship is powerful without being personal, and yet it is not by any means impersonal. At its best it is vitally engaging of the deepest aspect of both the healer and the healed. It is a meeting in a transpersonal space designated by many cultures as sacred. When we are connecting with others from this space, we are able to give from beyond ourselves, from an inexhaustible source. Not only does this protect us from being personally drained–- it also is more empowering for others, who do not grow dependent on us for what is simply coming through us, as a reminder of their own connection to Source.
The heart of the healing connection is sincerity and authenticity. It is never about trickery or manipulation. We serve to help others to reconnect to the heart of health that exists at everyone's core. In order to do this we must be connected to the place in ourselves which is rooted in health. Come join us for a workshop that will not only help you open wide the full power of your healing modality, but also leave you profoundly anchored in the clearest, strongest, most healthy part of yourself.
